Canada Day! Surrey, BC

Surrey Canada Day is Western Canada’s premier Canada Day event. Every year, the City invites residents and visitors to experience a day full of free, family-friendly entertainment, amusement rides, exhibitor booths, an Indigenous Village, food trucks and a fireworks finale. After 2020 and 2021 being celebrated virtually, 2022 was able to get back to the fabulous celebration in person! There were soooo many events and artists to see and great food, too. The weather couldn't have been any better, we had the sun the entire day with a nice warm breeze and people were having fun! I was able to capture some images of Arkells who were the main artist performing at the Bill Reid Amphitheatre along with many others throughout the day scattered on different stages on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. It was a heartfelt celebration of Canada's 155th Birthday after the past couple of years of virtually no gatherings and celebrations... It was great to celebrate being together in our beautiful country!
